See what changed, and what is winning

What you get: the answer to “what changed?” when rankings move, with the exact crawl it changed in, so a broken title or an emptied page never goes unnoticed.

the change log
quox seo changes --limit 3~ /features/old-product word_count: 2262 -> 49 (crawl #408)~ /features/old-product title: "Old product: everything in one place" -> "Old product (retired)" (crawl #408)~ /features/old-product meta_description: "Everything in one place, with..." -> "This product is retired..." (crawl #408)
From a real run on our own install. Page and text changed.

Each line is a signed change event: the page, the field, the value before and after, and the crawl that saw it. Here a page lost almost all its words in one crawl, which is worth knowing whether it was meant or not.

From a real run on our own install. Paths and numbers changed.

It compares the last 28 days with the 28 before. --scope query does the same by search query instead of page.

Both commands read history your Quox already holds: changes between its own crawls, and Search Console data it pulled in. Because every crawl is witnessed, the change log is evidence, not a report someone could edit.

quox seo url <path> shows a page’s current record, to confirm a change is still there.

Nothing to undo: these only read.
