Save a note and find it again

What you get: a place your agents and you both look before guessing. Save it once; any agent in your organisation can find it later.

Just ask, in your own words:

Here's what your notes say:

Every guide has two parallel halves [B1]: the natural language ("ask Quox") path and the explicit command path. Crucially, both halves are generated from real runs, not invented examples.

Real output, names changed [B2]: there's a recorded decision that guides show the true shape of every screen, but with private names swapped out. Invented example output was explicitly rejected as an alternative, because readers should see what the UI actually looks like.

The build pipeline [B3]: the guides plan lives at ~/cli.quox.ai/GUIDES_PLAN.md on the cli.quox.ai main branch, with a 16-phase backlog tracked in QuoxPlan under CLI-QUOXON-GUIDES #523.

That's the full picture your notes hold on this. If you want the deeper detail from the GUIDES_PLAN.md itself or the QuoxPlan stream, I can pull either of those for you.

A real turn on our own install (quox 0.3.0, 13 Oct 2026), replayed at speed. Names changed. Type the same words into quox.

Quox searched the brain, read the notes it found, and answered with them. Each [B1]-style mark is a note it read: ask it to show one.

Commands as quox brain add --help documents them at 0.3.0.

Search is hybrid: it matches meaning as well as words, so “when do we ship” can find “Deploy days”.

Results come from everything the brain holds: your notes, saved memories, past sessions and documents. Kind says which.

Your note was saved on your Quox, in your organisation’s brain, not in a local file. Agents search the same brain before they answer, so what you saved now can shape what they say later.

quox brain status shows how many notes the brain holds and where they came from. quox brain brief shows what is new.

quox brain delete <noteId> removes a note. The deletion is recorded as a revision, so quox brain history <noteId> and quox brain restore <noteId> <rev> can bring it back.
